Phillip Anderson Photography offers fine art nature photographs. "I hope my images will inspire the viewer to preserve and protect our wonderful planet."

Born in Minnesota, Phil Anderson and family moved to the Southwest in 1970. In 1986 while on vacation they bought land outside of Sisters, Oregon and built a house there in 1993. Following his retirement he became interested in photography and made photographing the National Parks and State Parks his passion. Phil is a self-taught photographer who has attended workshops at Galen Rowell's Mountain Light Studio in Bishop, California.

Phil Anderson's equipment is a Leica R8 and an ARCA Swiss 6x9cm field camera. He uses only film and converts to digital using state-of-the-art scanners, programs and printers. His photographic prints are produced using a LightJet enlarger on Fuji Crystal archival paper or as Gicleé (ink-jet prints) on watercolor paper or canvas.

Each print size is limited to an edition of 50 prints and will not be made into posters or cards.

Phil Anderson's creative efforts are aimed at giving the viewer the same inspiration as the natural world gave him at the time the image was taken.

The current portfolio of available prints is shown here. Images not currently in production can be viewed by email by contacting the photographer.

Orders can be placed using the order form on this site or by email. Images can be purchased matted or unmatted. Phil Anderson's work can be seen on display at Manzanita Mercantile in Springdale, UT (at the entrance to Zion National Park) and The Soda Creek Gallery in Sisters, OR.
