Mesa Verde National Park, Cortez, Colorado This park was established in 1906 and designated a World Heritage site in 1978. The park preserves the cliff dwellings and surface sites on the Anasazi, or Ancestral Pueblans. The above image was taken on the occasion of the 100 year anniversary of the park. This image of Cliff Palace was taken during the luminary event. The above image was taken with a 35mm Leica SLR using 160 Kodak color print film with an overexposure setting of 50.
