"Face-to-Face", Lower Antelope Canyon, Southeast of Page, Arizona

Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons are on the Navajo Reservaton. Visitors to either canyon must pay a fee and be aware of pending weather conditions before entering the canyon. Flash flooding is deadly. Antelope Canyon has become known as the world's most photographed slot canyon.

My first trip to Antelope Canyon resulted in the above image which I call "Face-to-Face'". This image was taken with a 35 mm Leica SLR using Fuji Velvia film. The image was scanned without enhancements and exposed using LightJet technology and developed on Fujiflex super glossy paper. This image can be enlarged without losing sharpness or resolution.
